Installation Instructions
  1. Insert this CD ROM into your CD ROM Drive, the Repair & Maintenance Manual should autorun on your system.
  2. If the CD ROM does not automatically start in a few moments you can start the CD ROM by double clicking your "My Computer" Icon on your Windows Desktop, then double click your CD ROM Drive, then double click the file "autorun.exe".
System Requirements
    Minimum System Requirements: 166 MHZ Pentium based processor with 64 MB of RAM. Recommended System Requirements: 300 MHZ Pentium based processor with 128 MB of RAM. The PC must run WIN 9x, 2000, XP or NT. Internet Connection is recommended although not required.

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
CD Does Not Run
  • Check your system against the recommended system requirements on the CD Jacket
  • You may have "autorun" disabled on your computer, to resolve this either re-enable "autorun" or browse the CD and double click on Autorun.exe file to start the CD
Movies will not play
  • Check your system against the recommended system requirements on the CD Jacket
  • The movies included on this CD are in .WMV format, which can be viewed in Windows Media Player. You may not have a current version of this software installed. Windows Media Player can be downloaded from www.microsoft.com/downloads/.
Feedback link does not work
  • The feedback link accesses an online feedback form. Check to see if you have an internet connection established. You can access the feedback link online by clicking here.
Running the CD on Macintosh based systems
  • The Glock Repair and Maintenance CD Rom was not initially designed to run on Macintosh (Mac) based systems, however most of the applications on the CD should run on G3 and above systems. To manually run the Glock Repair and Maintenance CD from you Macintosh, open the CD folder on your desktop, and click on the file "glock.exe".
CD Multimedia application appears to skip or audio does not play properly or is distorted
  • This problem is a result of insufficient memory and processor power needed to run the CD Application. To remedy this, be sure you are not running any other programs at the same time you are running the CD Rom, you may also need to restart your computer in order to free the necessary memory to run the CD.
  • If the problem persists check your system against the recommended system requirements on the CD Jacket
